The answer to this comes down to personal preference. The majority of time I grill mine, either on the BBQ or stove top. Everyone I am sure has their own method for getting the best result but I have found when using the BBQ if I start with a high heat to get the sausages browned, and then turn it down to somewhere between half and low on the temperature and just rotate the sausages every few minutes I tend to get a well cooked snag that isn’t over cooked.
